Participation Policy of the Strategic HR Management 2009 Conference
1. The Strategic HR Management 2009 Conference
The Strategic HR Management conference (hereinafter referred to as "the conference") organized by C.C. Consulting Co. Ltd (hereinafter referred to as "C.C. Consulting" or "we") is comprised of the conference, conference web site, emails, etc. derived in whole or in part of the conference.
2. Participant
(1) A "participant" is a person who registers at the conference by providing his/her personal information (defined in the "Privacy Policy") and who is subsequently accepted to attend the conference by C.C. Consulting.
(2) Participants are assumed to agree to the terms and conditions of this document and our privacy statement at the time of registration.
3. Personal Information
Any identifiable information (hereinafter referred to as personally identifiable information or PII; name, telephone number, email address, business address), shall not be provided to any other third parties without permission from the information holder; except in the following cases:
(1) Cases where C.C. Consulting is required to cooperate with a person or a group entrusted by the government or local authorities carrying out procedures in accordance with laws or regulations, and where these procedures would be interrupted by obtaining consent of the use of PII.
(2) Cases where C.C. Consulting is required to provide PII by a court of law, prosecutor’s office, police, bar association, consumer affairs bureau, or other authorized institutions.
(3) Cases where a member makes an express request to provide his/her Personal Information to third parties.
(4) Cases where C.C. Consulting reasonably judges the necessity of disclosure to provide services for the member of the information holder.
4. Third Party
Parties or affiliates who are responsible for handling PII within the scope of necessity, including the sponsors (workshop, exhibition) shall not belong to the third parties mentioned in the preceding articles.
5. Prohibited Matters of Participants
In terms of the use of the conference, participants shall be prohibited to perform the following acts:
(1) Registering false information.
(2) Defamation of other participants or third parties.
(3) Violating laws or regulations, or any acts causing law violation.
(4) Instigating or enabling criminal activity.
(5) Offending public order and morals.
(6) Use of information obtained via the conference beyond the scope of private use, such as copying, selling, publishing, etc.
(7) Act of distribution of information obtained via the conference for commercial purposes.
(8) Any act that interrupts the operation, or damages the credit of the conference and C.C. Consulting.
(9) Solicitation of any participant for employment (i.e. recruiting activities).
6. Exemption
C.C. Consulting shall not be held responsible for any damages or interruptions to participants (mental abuse, interruption of business operations or other detrimental effects including financial loss) arisen from the participation in the conference
7. Secondary Use of Personal Information
Any registered information on the Conference, other than PII, shall be made available for secondary use to promote or sell our products. Any copy rights shall belong to C.C. Consulting.
8. Termination of Participation
We reserve the right to decline participation in cases where C.C. Consulting deems a participant has violated the participation policy or is deemed to be not suitable for the conference.
9. Modification to Policy
C.C. Consulting reserves the right to modify or revise this policy at any time. Notification of any modifications or revisions shall be made available on the Conference web site.
10. Responsibility for Third Parties
C.C. Consulting will not be held liable for any damages to third parties caused by Conference participants, sponsors or speakers.
11. Compensation for Loss
In case a participant causes any damages or loss to C.C. Consulting by acting against this policy, the participant shall be under obligation to compensate us for the damages or loss directly or/and indirectly.
12. Governing Law and Court of Jurisdiction
(1) This participation policy will be governed by the laws of Japan.
(2) Any disputes arising out of the participation policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Tokyo District Court as court of first instance.
This Policy shall be effective on 8th April, 2009.
