Privacy Policy of the Strategic HR Management 2009 conference
C.C. Consulting Co. Ltd (hereinafter referred to as "C.C. Consulting" or "we") shall pay full attention to handling Personal Information of participants of the Strategic HR Management 2009 conference (hereinafter referred to as "the conference") and comply with the Personal Information protection law and other relevant laws and regulations of Japan.
1. Definition of Personal Information
The conference defines "Personal Information" as information with which a person can be identified. It includes names, postal and email addresses, and other relevant descriptions.
2. Management and Protection of Personal Information
C.C. Consulting shall establish a Personal Information management and protection system, and adapt a corporate regulation in regards to the collection and use of Personal Information. We shall also continuously formulate and implement measures for protection of Personal Information to avoid risks of loss, damages, leakage or alteration of it-both organizationally and technologically-and strive to maintain the security and the accuracy of Personal Information.
3. Purpose of Use and Collection
All Personal Information shall be collected through either the registration form on the entry sheet on the brochure, or the Conference website. The act of registration shall be performed at each user’s free will. The Conference will use collected Personal Information as required for the following purposes:
- Contact for identification of participants.
- Provision of important notifications or other useful information for participants via email, etc.
- Delivery of questionnaire requests or other monitoring activity, etc.
- Analysis and collection of data on the Conference participants’ attributes for statistical purposes.
- Contact by the organizer (CC Consulting) for introduction of other services, including CareerCross.
- Contact by sponsors for commercial purposes.
4. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
C.C. Consulting will not provide Personal Information to any third party without first obtaining consent of the individual, unless one of the following instances applies:
- Personal Information is required by laws, regulations or ordinances.
- Personal Information is requested by departments of national government or municipal governments or their delegated entities in the course of discharging their business prescribed under the laws, regulations or ordinances and where discharge of their business would be made difficult if they were to be required to obtain consent of the individual.
- Personal Information is required to protect human life, bodily safety or property and where it is difficult to obtain prior consent from the individual.
- If convenient to outsource all or part of the processing or handling of Personal Information, to the extent necessary to achieve the purpose of use stipulated in this Privacy Policy.
5. Shared Use and Provisions
C.C. Consulting may partner with other parties include sponsors (workshop, exhibition) to provide specific services.
In such instances, we will share names, or other contact information necessary for any relevant party to provide these services. Those parties shall not be allowed to use personally identifiable information except for the purpose of providing these services.
6. Links to Other Web Sites
The web site of the conference may contain several links to other web sites. C.C. Consulting shall not take responsibilities for those other web sites and their Privacy Policy may differ from ours. We strongly recommend reading this Privacy Policy before you start using the Conference web site.
